ok during my yaevinn era i was OBSESSED with the idea of geralt bringing yaevinn to shani's party and yaevinn is super awkward and kinda shy at first. but he ends up really hitting it off with dandelion cuz he recognizes toruviel's lute... and then he gets too drunk and geralt has to carry yaevinn home. but yaevinn never forgot about geralt's classy charming handsome poet friend... i don't really have a point here other than do you ship yaevinn with anyone and/or do you have any additional yaevinn related thoughts. (starting to tremble) i care him so much. sorry this ask is such a mess

I've never thought of him with dandelion before but that's such a cute scenario! imagine them meeting again years later after yaevinn had to disappear and they bond again right away and they're the only person that can keep up with the other's cultural banter and flowery speech. then people start noticing the handsome elf that always has a seat in the chameleon and who the bard owner occasionally kisses. and the elf looks like he doesn't like it but never resists. and one time dandelion writes a musical that's about the nonhumans' plight and it's a huge hit in novigrad and the troupe travels the continent, facing hate sometimes but also contributing to the fight against racism. and whenever dandy and yaevinn are apart they write pretty letters to each other...
OTHER THAN THAT I ship yaevinn with siegfried and geralt the former of which I wrote the sole fic on ao3 for.
additional yaevinn thoughts: he's alive and well living in a beautiful forest where he likes to sit under a weeping willow and write poems, sometimes wondering about the white wolf.
