OH.
There’s been a house across town who has been waving this flag for a few weeks now.  Every time we pass it, my father and I on our way to church, my sister and I on our way to the good grocery store, we look at it and ask ourselves what it’s all about?
WELL, thank goodness for the Internet? Â The flag is a take on the Thin Blue Line emblem representing and in support of law enforcement. Â Specifically, obviously, law enforcement agencies of the United States.
Now, I support my local law enforcement, I do: they’ve given me no reason not to.  But nationally... and, since I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, I’m sure it’s individuals not agency, but recent history has made it difficult to believe there isn’t a systemic problem.
Killing more people, however, not a solution.
One of the better RSA animations I've seen lately. It rings home more than ever w/ Inside Job winning for best documentary at The Oscars.
