Barriss was sent on a new mission. She was sent to hunt for a rebel cell that potentially had a Jedi with them. She put on her Inquisitor’s helmet and boarded her shuttle. The former Jedi knew she was going to get what she was sent for. A trap had been set for any rebels foolish enough to fall for it. She was still setting up the trap when she saw a ship approaching. 

“Ugh great They’re early.” She said to herself before ordering the small unit of stormtroopers to hide and get ready as the decoy waited. Soon she watched Twi’lek get off the ship followed by the rest of the cell. She made positive ID on the two she needed for sure. As they were negotiating what the supposed weapons she stepped put of her hiding spot. 

Poe doesn’t seem to be having much luck convincing her to rejoin their resistance. The little droid can detect a rise in Poe’s stress levels: elevated heartbeat, blood pressure, and perspiration. 

Uh oh, no good! Poe gets a bit snippy when he’s stressed out. 

BB-8 will just have to try and help the best he can!

As the Ghost landed on Lothal, the weight of all that had changed really hit Kallus. Going back to a place tended to have that effect; the scenery seemed to let the memories of the past stand in stark contrast with the realities of the present. While it wasn’t like he became a Rebel yesterday, being a spy did have a very different feel to actually being present.

After all, while he was a mole, the whole point was that people would look at him and still see an Imperial Agent and now, well, they were keeping a low-profile so with any luck people would just see two normal, undistinguished civilians. Thinking about it, it had been a very long time since he’d last been a normal, undistinguished civilian. 

But even if this was just a simple supply run, it wasn’t the time to get distracted by any of those existential feelings and Kallus silenced them with practiced skill.
