Kettil was no longer strapped to a chair; instead he was lying on a mattress, actually quite comfortable, save for his one wrist hand cuffed to a bed post. He was in a bare, crisp white room. There were no windows or doors except for one large two way mirror on one end and a small hatch beneath it.
He looked around more. That’s when he noticed a little girl with long black hair, sleeping with her head and arms on the same mattress he was lying in.

It was hazy and muffled around him as Kettil struggled to open his eyes. It took a few more moments before his vision cleared. His line of sight was partially blocked by something helmet-like around his head, but he could see everything from his nose and below. He was strapped to a chair, arms, legs, and waist bound by leather belts; strewn about his feet, and he could feel hanging loose down behind his neck from the helmet were many, many wires of various sizes and colours.

She shook her head, “Oh no it does! You see, the dreams I have aren’t quite your usual, it’s more like I see--”
The door slammed open, causing both of them to jump quite violently. Another young girl stomped up to where they were lying. She had long dark hair, hazel eyes, and wide rimmed glasses, just like the girl laying beside him. Twins.
“Voryne, goddammit! Stop running off!” the newcomer glared at her sister, then at Kettil, as if it were because of him that she lost her sleepy twin.
“Ooh, hey Varyne. You found me!” Voryne said sheepishly, rolling off the bed to stand by her, “I was just saying hi. I wanted to see what he was like.”
Both girls glanced at him again, one in disdain and one in pleasant curiosity.
Do you have your own specific headcanon about Tom being a zombie? Mine is that S1 Dianite brought him back in exchange for the survival of his friend/family/lover. (Ex he ‘died’ in their place that’s why he’s a zombie). But the process left him with little to no memory of his past life... So he basically starts from scratch. Tbh half of my headcanons for Tom are sad,,,,, oops lol

I do actually!!! It's not as sad but I really like it personally.
So Mianite got his champion and Dianite wanting to up Mianite decided to just get a champion as well
So he just brings to life which ever zombie comes out from the ground (in this case it was Tom)
Tho I imagine Tom just being murdered because of a conflict he probably had with someone.
Not that he really remembers what happened to him before being revived 👀
