#synchro skating

So first up, I guess its pretty obvious I switched around who wears which fit! Vio’s floaty cape number has gone to Green (and Shadow), and Blue has gained the sheer poofy sleeves from Greens previous outfit. I also switched out Red and Greens white leggings for dark grey so that the whole team have dark grey legs and look uniform. Drawing them upright, with more thought (this has taken 7.5 hours vs the 30 minutes of the original scribble!!) let me consider it more carefully and I changed them around to better match their elemental allegiance.

Green has a green fitted shirt that angles down to a V over his navel and straight into dark grey leggings. He is wearing black ‘Minish’ skates with the red and white minish feathers (all of the team wear these skates). He has a sheer green cape which is draped from gold bangles at each wrist and above the elbow, and attaches between his shoulder blades. This will catch the wind as he moves, fitting for his Wind element. There is gold embroidery around his V neckline, and the Wind symbol is embroidered in gold in the ‘V’ at the bottom of the shirt / over his navel.

Blue - My favourite costume! - he kept the blue tunic from the original scribble, but I altered the shape to have a hi-low hem, starting at his high waist at the front and curving elegantly down into two tails like a tail coat. His tunic is ombre from a darker blue at the top to a lighter almost sky blue by the end of the tails. He has poofy blue sheet sleeves to look like his arms are coated in rippling water as he moves. The water element symbol is a repeating gold embroidered motif around his rounded neckline.

Shadow - surprise we have a new member! He is wearing a dark grey onepiece that has a gold embroidered v-neckline that matches Green and Vio’s. The dark grey turns into a gradient towards a dark purple by the end of his sleeves. He has a matching cape to Green except his is dark purple to match his hair. He also has a sheer hi-low hemmed skirt.

Red - probably my second favourite outfit! - Red keeps his dress (so gender) but I altered it and instead of a circle skirt and puffed sleeves, I reverted back to a very early design idea for King of the Jumps and changed the shoulder s and skirt hem to be overlapping gold tipped flame-like hankerchief hems. The layers flutter and catch the spotlights like flames. His fire symbol is his neckline, with the rounded neckline representing the circle, and three large gold embroidered triangles radiating out for the flames. He is the only one not to have full dark grey leggings and instead has over the knee dark grey stockings (a nod to the final king of the jumps design) and he also wears elbow length dark grey gloves so his limbs are balanced.

Vio! Vio kind of gives me Toph Beifong vibes with the bracers… not that they look anything like Toph but there we are! Vio has the same tunic shape as Blue although without any sleeves. His earth symbol is embroidered on each tail of his tunic, and embossed in gold on his bracers.
