Fun little excerpt from my favorite story ever; Sympathy For The Villain by Pink_beeps (me 😂) on Ao3! This is from chapter 63, where after a long long LONG time, the VilHarem is officially established!

One last Sympathy For The Villain bit before I go to bed! This one is from chapter 73, which is entirely focused on Azul, one of the rare characters who is NOT in love with Vil!

Mainly because he's focused on his beloved boyfriend, his darling Jam-Jam who he is FAR too devoted to that he could hardly stomach even THINKING about another man!

(No, Jamil doesn't know they're dating but shh! They are by the end of this chapter so it's alright!)

Context: Eric and Divus just found out their son has a harem full of nobles and they're trying to figure out the logistics of that

Fun fact, all or the following happens in this one chapter:

1) Vil gains 5 boyfriends (Leona is still his fiance so he doesn't count)

2) Malleus learns that he got cucked by Idia

3) Eric Venue encounters a misunderstood ghost clone of his beloved son

Omg you're so sweet 😭 I'll be upfront and give you a non-spoilers endgame; it's VilHarem endgame! Vil ends up with Leona, Malleus, Rook, Cater, Trey, and Idia and even kisses himself at some point so it's like a total win for him!

Trey/Cater does also get a lot of focus, and while I tried to give each Vil relationship equal focus, I think MalleVil has the best story overall between them!
