“HOLY SHIT!”

Ozzy nearly dropped his gun when the other revealed his symbiote, but quickly regained his posture, albeit a shaky one, and he swallowed, staring at the other with wide, wondered eyes. He was told that this one was different. That it wasn’t violent like the others and understood its host’s desire to do good and justice. But Jones was still a bit cautious, as he had previously encountered Venom. He takes a step closer, looking the the fellow cop with a raised brow.

That...gave her completely nothing. 

The witch gave him (them?) a curious look, eyeing him up and down as her brows knit. He didn’t look like any demon she’d ever seen or read about, so that likely wasn’t it. Especially considering he called himself ‘space jello’. Which was odd in and of itself. 

Her expression smoothed out slightly as she circled the apparent hero briefly before reaching out to poke his arm lightly, wondering what he felt like. He looked gooey. Would he feel the same?

Finger guns!

“Ayyy, back at’chu, JD!”

now, that was the question wasn’t it? just exactly what the goblin was doing there. perhaps... he should have answered truthfully and go with the truth. perhaps... he should have said many things, but instead? he opted towards his own version of the truth. 

“Right or wrong. Is that truly what you believe? That you’ve been doing everything for the greater good?” It was almost poetic - an arachnid trying to be better than they were. In truth, that was how most ended up being; heroes, but this… wasn’t like that. 

Pat wasn’t like the rest of them. He was special; he was a monster.. just like him. Just like a few of the one’s he met in the vast multiverse - all monsters in their own right, but not exactly… cut from the same cloth. 

Now, Pat was… he was someone the Goblin could use. He was someone the Goblin could turn into something better - a true monster. A true… project of his. It just would take a matter of time… and proper grooming.

“Oh, I think you’re wrong,” he said, in a sing-song tone. “You’re so wrong, Pat. You’re like me; just not like me. We could be so great together. We should show the world just how we’re monsters and how we’re no longer going to hide.”

“Ay, JD! You are flier than fly pal, and Ais absolutely adores ya. She tells me she ain’t met a soul on here sweeter’n you, and she wants ya ta know how much she cares, man. You an’ yer boy Toxin are totally off the chiz-zain! Tell 'im I say hey, a‘ight?

  “If they think of me as a monster,” he said, hands slipping behind his back, tail wrapped around his right leg, “it seems I might have to be come one, doesn’t it? show them just what a  true monster can do.”
