Pretty much everyone is terrified of Sylen, except Cara and Eclipse. Mainly because those two are constantly trying to get him to open up to other people. There plots range from bad pranks like hiding his robes in obscene places to just up and locking him in rooms with people. When the latter happenes the person he is locked in with usually just sits terrified until the get let out.

Using friends’ ocs for fashion practice.
So after a bit of a break (more like being lazy, but who’s keeping track?) here is a drawing of my ocs! :D There was this hilarious photo with the prompt of drawing your squad, do I chose to do the main characters from my novel. I think this is the closest I’ve drawn my characters that they come to matching the images I have in my head, and even though I used a reference, I’m still quite happy with the anatomy. And yes, I drew the hands.
From left to right: Sylen, Locke, Aura, Drake, and Miri. I switched up the clothes a bit to match why they’d wear if they were in our world. Yeee!!
I’m posting this for now, but I do have plans to use this as my first digital piece, so hopefully that’ll be up soon! :)
If they don't develop lungs until later in life, how do Sylians communicate?
Young sylen are marine creatures, but they have abilities to both transmit and receive vibrations in water. Adults have much less specialized ear structures; instead, they use flashing bioluminescent signals to communicate ideas to their children.
