Headcanon A:  Realistic - Alain originally wanted to follow in Professor Sycamore’s footsteps and become a Pokémon Researcher. However, he unexpectedly found a passion for Pokémon care and healing, and so he decided to become a Pokémon Doctor instead. This head canon was actually mentioned to me from a friend, and I ended up liking it a lot!

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious - During Alain and Mairin’s second journey to Hoenn, Alain ends up catching a Skitty completely by accident. He tried to give it to Mairin, but the Skitty became attached to him, so he ends up keeping it. Mairin DOES have the honor of nicknaming it though, and decides to name it Cupcake. Alain finds the name ridiculous. Cupcake, however, loves it. This idea was also coined by friends (alas I cannot remember who exactly), but I absolutely adore it.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends - Alain’s mother, Alina Silver, disappeared when Alain was around 11 years old. Despite their best efforts, no one could figure out where she went or what might have happened to her. During his and Mairin’s second journey to Hoenn, Alain discovers that his mother was a Draconid and had returned home in order to protect him. She unfortunately died before they could reunite.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own - This could also fall under Headcanon C, but I like to headcanon that Alain’s father is, in fact, Lysandre. Alina left Lysandre before she knew that she was pregnant, which is why neither Alain or Lysandre knew the truth about their relationship.

Name: Margarita (Meg for short)

Gender: Female

General Appearance: Around average height. She has Barry’s eye colour and hair texture, but her hair colour is closer to Paul’s. Her facial features are a mix of the two. Tends to wear sporty clothes in dark, neutral colours.

Personality: Somewhat tomboyish; very ambitious and knows what she wants. Tries to act cool and mature, but has a childish side and can be scatterbrained at times.

Special Talents: She’s a super quick reader, though she’s not especially interested in books.

Who they like better: She’s close to both her dads, but gets along best with Barry since he’s the fun parent.

Who they take after more: Probably Barry, though she often wishes she was more like Paul as she wants to be taken seriously.

14. Do they live alone or with family? How do they feel about their family/roommates?

As a member of Team Dauntless, Blake lives with his biological parents Butch and Cassidy. He feels rather conflicted about his feelings for them because despite working for an evil organization, Butch and Cassidy do genuinely care about him. It makes his job as a double agent that much harder.

19. Would your character be the kind to get into fights? (physical or verbal) Would they be a good fighter or cave in rather easily?

Only if it was absolutely necessary. During his time in Team Dauntless, Blake learns how to achieve results without resorting to violence. That being said, he’s one of the best physical fighters in the group, so he’s definitely no pushover.

27. If your character was going to get arrested, what would be the most likely reason for it?

Evidently, it would be for being a member of Team Dauntless and his involvement in many of their biggest schemes. Thankfully, his role as a double agent (courtesy of Silver) would let him get off with little to no repercussions.

06. Do they have any hobbies that their lover finds unusual, odd, or otherwise annoying?

It has to be the whole “obsessively collecting cool rocks and rare trinkets and keeping them all in the Pokemon gym like a dragon’s hoard” thing. Jasper truly takes after Steven in that regard and people tend to react in much the same way as they do towards Steven’s obsession with stones. Levi doesn’t really get it, but he’s supportive.

46. What is some random affectionate thing that your character always does to their lover?

Levi is almost a foot taller, so Jasper will quite often jump up to hug him from behind, or make him pick them up so they can kiss. Gotta adapt when there’s such a difference in height!

48. Is there anything in particular that would ignite your character’s jealousy? Or does your character not get envious?

Jasper isn’t generally the type of person to get envious, but they do feel the occasional pang of jealousy towards people who don’t have quite so much responsibility hanging over them. They mainly took over the Sootopolis gym out of a sense of duty, but their heart isn’t really in it - Jasper is a free spirit and would much rather roam around travelling than be tied down to a particular place.

Who is more likely to get injured doing small tasks: Ash Who worries more about the other: Gary Who is more afraid about the other leaving them: Gary, purely because Ash is flighty and travels a lot, so when they first get together Gary wonders how long he’ll stick around.  Who is more likely to leave (for any reason): Ash (see above), though if he actually did leave for good (or for a long time) it would probably be for safety reasons over an actual breakdown in the relationship - not wanting to put his family at risk if something went wrong, etc. Who is more likely to drunkenly confess: Gary Who is more likely to push the other away (for any reason): Ash Who picks fights more often: They’re both about equal, since they were rivals from a young age. Bickering over small, petty stuff is a long tradition between them, though nowadays they mostly do it jokingly and make up pretty quickly. Who usually apologizes first: It depends on the circumstances - who started the fight/lost their temper, etc. Who is more likely to withhold their feelings for the other: Gary (since he kind of did - he had feelings for Ash and kept it secret long before Ash realised he had a thing for Gary too) Who is more likely to lash out at the other: Ash Who gets more jealous: Gary Who is more likely to support the other in a relationship with someone else “as long as they’re happy”: They both would! But Gary comes closer to that in reality, since Ash did have a kid with someone else (Misty) before he and Gary started dating. When Misty got pregnant Gary assumed she and Ash would end up in a relationship even though there wasn’t really anything romantic between them. For a little while he kind of gave up on the idea that Ash would ever want to be with him, so he was very pleasantly surprised when Ash reciprocated his feelings.

Who reaches out to new neighbors: They live in the middle of nowhere so no neighbours to speak of, but hypothetically, probably N Who remembers to buy healthy food: Hilbert Who remembers to buy junk food: Hilbert Who fixes the oven when it breaks: Hilbert Who waters the plants/feeds their pet(s): Both of them, but N moreso Who wakes up earlier: Hilbert Who makes the bed: N Who makes the coffee: Hilbert Who burns breakfast: N How do they let each other know they’re leaving the house: All I can think of is N sending one of the Pokemon running through the house/garden to find Hilbert with a note taped to it like “I am buying groceries” How do they greet each other when one of them gets home: Hugs and kisses and talking about their day. 1. Who do they look up to?

His parents, since he wants to follow in their footsteps and become a top coordinator! As an actor, he’s also a fan of Brycen and wants to meet him someday.

7. Any family scandals? Does your character know about them?

Despite what you might expect, his family life actually isn’t that scandalous despite Who Harley Is As A Person™ - I always joke that Hoenn is probably the most chill and drama-free region in the next gen era. He probably has to deal with a fair amount of media gossip about him and his parents, though, since Harley is always in the tabloids for some reason or other.

Sebastian was also most likely an accident when he was born, since I like the idea that Harley and Nando start out just casually hooking up but then end up with a kid together and fall in love for real amid all the co-parenting chaos. I dont think Sebastian would really care if they told him, since he knows his dads love him regardless.

17. Who is their favourite person to spend time with?

His travelling companions, Orlando and Kiri! They’ve all been good friends since they were kids and have a lot of fun on the road and practicing for contests together. They have a little bit of a reputation as the Cool Kids Clique on the contest circuit, since a lot of the younger coordinators idolise them.

19. How do they feel about public displays of affection?
