One of the first starting concepts leading up to my Mirror Souls AU!
Originally, I saw the human with the sword and the human with the spear as two separate people. Thus, I created fan art of them and made characters and stories out of them.
Read below for more info and facts!
I originally had the name of the human on the left have the same name as Chara (like a namesake) and the human on the right, Lampos.
Why Lampos? I came across it while looking up names that contain the word 'Chara' and came across it.
The two words together, Charalampos means to radiate from happiness, and I thought it would make sense to split that word up and give the twins half of the name to share. Symbolism and all that
They were also twin siblings from the human royalty, their mother, Queen of all human lands, was secretly a mage in disguise and is a distant relative of the Dreemurr family.
Ancient Chara eventually became Tosora and Lampos became Kloth.

Day 2 of recreating the entirety of Undertale via fanart:
Intro 1: War broke out (spr_introimage_1)
Originally drawn: January 13th 2026
I used to hate this brush because it's weird but then I drew this and now I love it. A lot of these pieces are brush tests where I limited myself to just using a single brush to get a handle on how it works, by the way. It's fun and I tend to download an insane number of brushes, so I do it a lot.
Other times I've drawn this:
Originally drawn on September 14th 2022 for this comic set in the Metanoia AU.
Yeah, it's this AU again. It'll be a pretty constant presence until I get through the intro. Not gonna lie, it's named that entirely because at the time I couldn't think of anything good in the standard WORDtale/UnderWORD format that wasn't already taken. honestly would probably rename it if i ever revive the au...
Undyne and Alphys were in the roles of Toriel and Asgore respectively because I hadn't seen any other roleswaps play with the idea. Also because I've had an enduring fascination with the idea of Undyne in Toriel's place since 2020 that I've never actually managed to sit down and explore despite having a published fic and two different unfinished projects nominally built around the idea.Â
I have absolutely no idea why the concept is so interesting to me or why I've never managed to actually write it despite that. Honestly it kind of baffles me.Â
Day 4 of recreating the entirety of Undertale via fanart:
Intro 3: Monsters were sealed (spr_introimage_3)
Originally drawn: January 16, 2026.
You know, I never realized how much I like the intro art until I sat down to draw the whole thing myself for this project. The composition of this panel in-game is really nice, and I had a lot of fun playing with it when drawing this and day 3.
Other times I've drawn this:
First one was originally drawn September 14th, 2022 for this comic set in the Metanoia AU.
Second one was originally drawn January 20th, 2026.

Commentary on the extra images under the cut:
First image: I don't remember my reasoning for basing the intro humans (or skeletons, in this case) off the six souls, but it was probably just for the sake of making it easier to design them for the AU.
My choices of which monsters to have cameo did have some thought behind them. They're all the characters I decided were old enough to be around before the barrier, either because I thought it was plausible for them or for the character whose role they were in.Â
I had to check my old notes to figure out why Nice Cream Guy is here and apparently I had him replacing Gerson which is… Sure I guess. But while I was checking that I also looked at the other swaps because I've forgotten a few of them and apparently? Gaster?? Was this AU's version of TEMMIE???? AND VICE VERSA????????
I also changed out Riverperson's (Grillby, in this AU) warning about the man who speaks in hands for "Beware the swarm." so I guess my sense of humor just straight up has not changed at all since 2022 because that is exactly as funny to me now as it was then.
Second image: Drew it while at a restaurant with my dad along with the rest of the intro. (barring intro 2 because they're literally identical lmao)
Day 3 of recreating the entirety of Undertale via fanart:
Intro 2: Humans were victorious (spr_introimage_2)
Originally drawn: January 13th, 2026.
"After a long battle, the humans were victorious."
Intro panels 2 and 3 are completely identical aside from lighting, so I thought about just lumping them together. Ultimately decided not to because it'd throw certain stuff off when I inevitably went back to separate them later, so I just did a piece for both.
