So work today kicked my ass 😒 so part of me wanted to just put Phyre through the ringer. Then I hugged my shark, and figured i should draw them getting a big old hug because damn mf probably needs that. Only Fabien gets to hug them though.

Elder is touch starved yet hates people touching them, go figure. (Also haha they hate crying, and they hate wasting their vitate more so it's uncomfortable to cry 😙😕🥺)

Phyre:

Stimming:

Phyre has the most detailed explanations as I have projected a lot onto them because I like their style. Being a 400 year old vampire means you have definitely picked up on some not so great traits, and with the added benefit of healing at the end of the night, that means that I gave Phyre a lot of pain stims! This includes;

Picking at their skin/at their carvings (Dermatillomania)

Scratching/Digging nails into their skin

Biting their hands/fingers

Hair pulling/Hair plucking (trichotillomania)*

and finally, I feel like this is part of the reason why they would be a major masochist lol. Pain helps regulate them during sex.

*Circling back to this point, I think during SWMN I will describe Phyre experimenting with their style and at some point they will probably buzz their hair to try a curb their hair pulling. This doesn't really work

some non-pain related stims include:

Deep Pressure (They like to feel as much weight on them as possible so think tight hugs, weighted blankets etc etc. While not necessarily painful, Phyre probably would push it a little. Not like it would do serious damage anyway)

Pacing

Fidgeting with their peircings

They probably have some form of "Dinosaur arms" as a result of their telekinesis/gliding

Speaking of which, they probably would use it at random to feel the tension in their hands and arms.

Whistling (This is something they pick up on later in the story because of Fabien. They probably don't whistle as good as him)

Non-Stimming Traits (I think):

thermoregulation (They had a harder time picking up on changes of temperatures when they were alive. They still have this problem, but only because you know... they are dead.) They would probably abuse the hell out of hot water though. Fuck your waterbill.

Flat affect? A result of Fem! Phyre's VA for sure, but I do like the idea of them sounding pretty flat. And on top of this, I have taken upon myself to also include lack of facial changes. This is due to how the character models are like in game, but there is still a charm to it.

I think Phyre suffers a lot from verbal shutdowns. Especially during specific points in this story, I think they just wouldn't be capable of speaking at given points. Others probably look at this as a haughty Elder trait.

Overall, a lot of these would probably get explored near the beginning of the story and the midway point! Especially since I think Phyre would be trying to keep it on the downlow, as they try navigating through modern times. I have already introduce some of these concepts within SWMN but these are the main sticking points I can think of rn for them specifically!

Fabien:

While I have less to say on Fabien's stims specifically, I definitely have thought about them a whole bunch 😅. If Phyre has my more negative stims than Fabien has everything else

Whistling/Humming

Singing/Singing badly on Purpose (Sometimes it's fun to just start singing random shit. Probably does a lot of scatting.)

making "pop" noises

Echolalia*

Smoking*

Fidgeting with his Lighter/Smokes

snapping his fingers

hand flapping (think more like the flapping you do trying to dry your hands)

pacing

Dancing/doing a lil' jig/idle dance (I straight up don't know how to describe this in a way that makes sense. But dude dances in place, Charleston damn you)

Spinning (He definitely spins in his office chair)

Rocking (man's antsy. He has to rock back and fourth on his toes you see)

*Smoking: Very vague wording, while man has a lingering sense of addiction, I think it also just helps regulate. I think he also will just put a cigarette in his mouth and not light it sometimes)

*Echolalia: Another really vague one I know. I know that technically this has multiple categories and how it manifest but I still don't fully understand its descriptors. When I say this, I mean it in the sense he will pick up phrases and repeat them for long periods of time.

Non-Stimming Traits:

Fabien is very expressive with his emotions, often times very exaggerated. Along with this he can't really control his tone/volume of voice. Think: Whispering in crowds, and raised when there' only one person near.

Also, I think he feels the need to explain himself often. He doesn't want people to misunderstand what he means more than they already do.

Like Phyre, these traits get explored in the beginning and midway points. However I wanted his traits to contrast against Phyre's as a way if highlighting how differently these two are perceived.

People find Fabien's traits annoying because they are more visible, and therefore easier to ridicule. While Fabien doesn't like it, there not much to be done about it. Since Phyre's tend to be more invisible they tend to slip through the cracks a lot more, even if they unmask just as much as Fabien.

Super secret fun time stims (nsft)

So when they fuck-

The ultimate fantasy of unmasking with the love of your current life, these two have a mutal understanding of each others quirks. Which leads to them stimming off of each other during sex, or just using each other's body's to stim.

So:

Phyre is a biter, they nibble or suck on Fabien's skin. They also will sometimes just to take him into their mouth and just sit.

Being the more vocal of the two Fabien is definitely humming and shit. He will sometimes enter them just to rock against them. Or he will somes just press down against them, "crushing" them. He's bald in my story, but I think he does like pulling on Phyre's hair a bit. They appericate it.

Sometimes they just do this, not for sex. They just want to be close.

Closing:

Thank you for listening to my ramblings. I love rambling about these two especially. And with writing SWMN I get to think about them more than ever. As mentioned in the beginning, things may change, I may add more, we'll just have to see.
