catrina is related to catty. she is a mettaton fangirl who bullies mariette. for a long time she was one of mariettes biggest enemies but eventually catrina gets redeemed in the future :)
she thinks very highly of herself but not in a good way. because of her beauty, people tend to do things for her. catrina is the type to make fun of anyone who acts eccentric in the slightest. she tends to act jealous often toward other mettaton fans and wants to take him for herself, but she fantasizes mettaton being the one to please her while she gives nothing back.
she also doesnt really care about anything mettaton does. she mainly thinks he looks pretty (his ex form) she only loves mettaton ex because of how beautiful he is. she can be very judgemental when it comes to looks unfortunately. at some point she had made fun of mariettes body and it may have been the reason mariette keeps a permanent form where she appears thinner.
catrina hates anime. she once bullied alphys and calling her "dork" for liking "chinese cartoons" (an actual insult i once received by peers as a little kid). only after catrina later found out that not only alphys invented the mettaton robot, but he was inspired by anime looks. she later tries to express she "loves" anime, but she could care less about it.

mariettes relationship to catrina:
while intimidated by her, eventually she stops caring about catrinas antics and endures it. she cant help but feel a little bad for catrina for acting such a way. but with help from onric, mariette helps catrina grow to be a better person and it took a lot of work. mariette felt hopeful that catrina could change.
El Mictlán es, en la cosmovisión mexica, el inframundo o el lugar de descanso eterno al que se dirigían las almas de quienes morían de causas naturales o por enfermedades no relacionadas con los dioses (como el agua o la guerra). Para los antiguos nahuas, la muerte no era un final, sino un proceso de transformación y el inicio de un eterno retorno al lugar de origen.
El Viaje al Mictlán
El camino hacia el descanso final era un recorrido complejo y peligroso que duraba cuatro años. Este tiempo correspondía, según la creencia, al periodo que tardaba un cuerpo en descomponerse por completo hasta quedar solo en huesos, signo de que el alma había llegado a su destino. Durante este trayecto, el difunto debía superar nueve niveles o pruebas que ponían a prueba su fortaleza espiritual:
Apanohuaia: El alma llegaba a un río caudaloso. Para cruzarlo, era indispensable la ayuda de un perro xoloitzcuintle (que debía ser de color pardo), el cual guiaba al difunto para atravesar la corriente.
Tepeme Monamictlan: El lugar donde dos montañas se chocan entre sí de forma constante, obligando al alma a medir el tiempo para pasar sin ser aplastada.
Itztepetl: Una montaña cubierta de filosos cuchillos de obsidiana que desgarraban el cuerpo y el alma del difunto.
Itzehecayan: Un páramo desolado de hielo y nieve, azotado por vientos cortantes.
Pancuecalocayan: Un lugar donde no existe la gravedad y las almas son lanzadas como banderas por vientos huracanados.
Temiminaloyan: Un sendero donde manos invisibles lanzaban flechas de obsidiana (las saetas perdidas en batallas) para acribillar a los caminantes.
Teyollocualoyan: Una región habitada por fieras salvajes, donde un jaguar devoraba el corazón del difunto.
Izmictlan Apochcalocan: El lugar donde el alma se pierde en la niebla y termina de desprenderse de sus últimos restos materiales.
Chicunamictlan: El destino final, donde el difunto se presentaba ante Mictlantecuhtli (el señor de la muerte) y Mictecacíhuatl (la señora de la muerte). Ante ellos, el alma entregaba sus ofrendas y recibía la autorización para el descanso eterno, liberándose de todas sus penas.

Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) is a religious holiday combining the Death veneration rituals of Pre-Hispanic cultures with the Catholic practice. Based on the belief that the souls of the departed return to this world on that day, it is widely celebrated throughout Mexico.
