Gregory screamed and sat up suddenly. He looked around the room, heavily breathing. He ripped the blanket off himself and jumped off the bed. But to his surprise, his body didnât fall off the bed. But, his body slapped against some wood instead. He felt the wood underneath his fingers, and looked around.Â
There was a large sign that said [FREDDY FAZBEARâS PIZZAPLEX] on the wall over the gate, and there were two wooden crates on either side of him. WhereâŚWhere is he?Â
âHello, little boy.â Someone said beside him. Gregory widened his eyes and turned towards the voice. The huge animatronic walked up to him, staring at Gregory with his bright red eyes, and his half smile.Â
Gregory sprinted to Moondrop and tackled him down to the ground. âMOON!â Gregory shouted, hugging him tightly.Â
Moon looked down at Gregory, wrapping his arms around the boy. âWhatâs wrong? Are you hurt?â Moon asked him.Â
Gregory sobbed and closed his eyes as he started to cry. Moon silently grabbed a blanket, and wrapped it around his shoulder. He gently lifted Gregoryâs head, laid the blanket onto his own shoulder and laid Gregory back against the blanket. âI want to let you cry. But water is not good for my animatronic parts.â Moon told him.Â
Gregory nodded, before bursting out crying all over again. He held the blanket with his right hand, and hugged Moon again with his left arm.Â
His crying lasted for a good 10 minutes. 10 minutes of sobbing, crying, whimpering and tears. By the end of 10 minutes, the blanket was completely soaked.Â
âAlright, Gregory. Do you want to talk about it now?â Moon asked.Â
Gregory looked up at Moon, his cheeks completely red from crying. He sniffled and rubbed his nose. âWellâŚâ He looked down. âItâs stupidâŚâ He told Moon.Â
âItâs not stupid if it makes you scared.â Moon told him. âYou are allowed to feel fear for anything. Even spiders!â Moon told him.Â
Gregory shook his head, feeling himself cry a bit more. âNoâŚItâs dumb. I know you want to tell me itâs dumb.â Gregory sobbed.Â
â...How can I call it dumb if I donât even know what your dream was about?â Moon asked.Â
âDifferent people fear different things. People fear zombies, people fear sickness, people even fear being loved.â Moon told him. âI met a child who was scared of her car running out of gas.â Moon told him.
âRâŚReally?â Gregory asked.Â
âBut that was because she didnât know how they would get back home without gas. And once I explained how they would get homeâŚshe lost some of her fear.â He told Gregory.Â
Gregory nodded, looking down still.
âPeople are scared of what they donât fully understand.â Moon told him.Â
Gregory looked at Moon. âAre you scared of something?â Gregory asked Moon.Â
Moon thought for a moment. âWellâŚâ He put his index finger against his own chin. âYes. I am scared of something.â Moon told him.Â
Gregory seemed to calm down the slightest bit upon hearing that alone. âWhat are you scared of?âÂ
Moon smiled a bit. âIâm scared of kids that donât follow rules, haha!â Moon joked.Â
But Gregoryâs face dropped in annoyance and dread. He sighed and shook his head. âNevermind.â He said, looking away with slight annoyance.Â
Moon looked down and shook his head. âButâŚfor realâŚIâm scared of losing my brother.â Moon admitted.Â
Gregory looked over to Moon hesitantly as he continued.Â
âIâm scared of losing SunâŚwaking up and seeing him either being taken away or shut down against his will.â Moon admitted. âI couldnât live with myself if he was taken away from me. Weâre brothers. We have each otherâs backs till the end.â Moon told him.
Gregory looked at Moon with a new set of eyes. He slowly started to feel empathy for The Daycare Attendant. Heâs scared of losing his brotherâŚGregory knew how it felt to lose familyâŚhe knew that all too well.Â
âIâm sorry.â Gregory told him.Â
Moon shook his head. âThe chances of that happening are low, anyway.â Moon told him, trying to lighten up the mood.Â
âRegardlessâŚthatâs scary for anyone.â Gregory said.Â
Moon looked down a bit, struggling to not let it get to him. âYâŚâ He sighed. âY-yeah. It is.â He finally replied.Â
âBut thatâs okay. Itâs okay to be scared.â Gregory told him.Â
âItâs okay for you to be scared too, Little boy.â Moon told him.Â
Gregory nodded and hugged Moon again. He appreciated the empathy Moon was showing him. It felt nice to be heard and accepted. âMy nightmare was about losing Freddy.â Gregory admitted. âFreddy powering down, and me not being able to save him. And knowing he was trying to save me when I shouldâve been the one to save him.â Gregory admitted.Â
âGregoryâŚâ Moon looked at Gregory. âEven if he were to power down and leave you aloneâŚHe is willing to sacrifice his own life for you. And I think you should honor that.â Moon told him. âThough I agree, it is sad that Freddy had run out of batteryâŚand mourning him is something you should definitely doâŚmake sure you also thank Freddy for all heâs done for you. Cause there arenât a lot of animatronics who will choose humans over themselves.â Moon added.Â
Gregory nodded and closed his eyes. He rested his head against Moonâs belly for a little while longer, taking in the cool comfort Moon was providing him. His breathing slowed for a few minutes at mostâŚ
Then a small smile grew onto Gregoryâs face as he took in a breath, turned his head to the front and blew a raspberry onto Moonâs belly.Â
Moonâs eyes widened as his eyes went white with surprise. âWait- BAHAHAHAhahahahaha!â Moon laughed. âNohoho fahahair! Nooo fahahahahair!â He laughed.Â
Gregory giggled and looked up. âWhat?â He asked. âTicklish?â He asked.Â
âYohohou-â Moon picked up Gregory and started skittering his fingers all over both of Gregoryâs armpits. âYou think you can tickle the moon without being tickled back, naughty boy~?â Moon asked, seemingly recovered within milliseconds.Â
Gregory screamed and bursted out cackling. âGAAAHAHAHAHAHA! WAIT NOHOHOHO! HAHAHAHAHAHA!â Gregory shouted and laughed, wiggling around all over the place.Â
âNo what? No fair?â Moon asked.Â
âYEAHAHAHAAA!â Gregory replied.Â
âWhat are you talking about? All is fair in a 2-person tickle fight.â Moon reacted.Â
âIHIHIS NOT!â Gregory argued.Â
Moon gasped and paused tickling. âHow DARE you contradict me!â Moon reacted, acting offended. âNow cheer up, naughty boy!â Moon declared as he lowered his fingers downâŚand started digging his fingers into Gregoryâs vulnerable hips.Â
Gregory started kicking and cackling in an almost animalistic fashionâŚAlmost like Gregory had turned into a wild, baby chimpanzee. âIHIHITâS SOHOHOHO MEHEHEEEAN!â Gregory yelled.Â
âIt iiiiis?â Moon teased. âHow funny you say thatâŚâ He said with a sly, mischievous voice.Â
Gregoryâs laughter started to die down slightly as he felt Moonâs fingers move up to his sides this time. âHAHAHAHAHAhahahahaha!â Gregory laughed, shaking his head left and right as he gripped Moonâs wrists.Â
âMy myâŚyou have more strength than I thought youâd have!â Moon reacted. âTell me: How many stackable chairs can you lift up on your own?â Moon asked.Â
âHehehehehe- Threeheheheheee.â Gregory replied.Â
âWow! Now thatâs a lot! Iâm pleasantly surprised!â Moon reacted as he turned his body into a rainbow curve so he could see Gregâs face perfectly with his upside-down face. âTell me:â Moon stopped tickling and jumped over Gregoryâs head. His feet landed on the ground in front of Gregory, facing the boy as he landed. âCan you lift me up?â Moon asked him.Â
âWhahaha- Whahat?â Gregory asked, confused. âYohohouâre mehetal. Why would Ihi be able to lihift you if yohouâre metal?â Gregory asked.Â
âThatâs simple!â Moon walked closer to Gregory and knelt down. âMy body is built with porous metals! Meaning I am lighter in weight, but still high quality!â Moon declared, showing him his . âMy brother, Sun, is also made with that type of steel!â Moon added. âSo try and lift me up!â Moon told him.Â
Gregory chuckled and shrugged his shoulders. âOkayâŚâ He watched as Moon knelt down to allow Gregory to grab his waist instead of his baggy legs.Â
Gregory stretched out his fingers in front, cracking them in the process, before making a circle with both his upper arms. With Gregory ready, he wrapped his arms around Moonâs thin waist and lifted him up. Gregory felt as Moon was surprisingly lifted off the ground.Â
âYouâre doing it!â Moon reacted. âYouâre lifting me up!â Moon reacted, excitedly.Â
âIâŚI am?â Gregory asked.Â
âYes! Youâre lifting me! You can lift me!â Moon reacted.Â
Gregory chuckled and looked up at Moon. âThis is easier than I thought!âÂ
âYouâre so strong!â Moon reacted.Â
âI could do this for another hour!â Gregory reacted.Â
âReally?!â Moon reacted. âAlright! Letâs see how long you can do it for!â Moon decided.Â
âOkay.â Gregory replied. âLetâs see how long I can hold you uhuhUHUHUP- WAIT WAHAHAIHIHIHIT!â Gregory suddenly burst out laughing.
âWhat?â Moon asked, his smirk growing more and more menacing. âTicklish?â He asked, repeating Gregoryâs words from earlier.Â
âYEHEHEHESSS!â Gregory yelled, before quickly dropping Moon.Â
Only Moonâs knees were affected in this scenarioâŚbut not very much. His knees only clunked against the wooden floor. âOop- That was 19.52 seconds.â Moon told him.Â
Gregory was doubled over, and hugging his armpits as he kept giggling. âYouhuhuhu cheheateher.â Gregory muttered under his breath.Â
âCh-Cheater?!â Moon reacted. âYeheah! You cheated!â Gregory reacted.Â
âI did not! I wanted to see how long youâd last holding onto me!â Moon reacted.Â
âBut you tickled me while I was holding you! Thatâs dangerous!â Gregory yelled.Â
âI had it under control. I knew to move my hands back once you dropped me.â Moon told him.Â
âStill considered cheating.â Gregory muttered.Â
âIt made you feel better, didnât it?â Moon asked.Â
Gregory huffed and crossed his arms, looking to the right. â...YeahâŚâ He replied somewhat quietly.Â
Moonâs smile lessened a bit. âTell you what:â Moon opened his arms. âYou get 10 minutes to tickle me without any retaliation during, or after.â Moon told him.Â
â10 minutes?â Gregory clarified.Â
â10 minutes.â Moon replied.Â
Gregory looked Moon up and down with a slight smile. â...And no retaliation?âÂ
âNo retaliation during, or after the 10 minutes.â Moon replied.Â
Gregoryâs smile grew as he offered his hand. âDeal.âÂ
Moon shook Gregoryâs hand. â10 minutes starts in 3âŚ2-âÂ
Gregory pulled on Moonâs arm, causing him to fall onto the ground. He turned Moon over and started skittering his fingers all over Moonâs belly and sides. âGO!â Gregory declared.
âYOHOHOU CHEHEHEATEHED!â Moon shouted as he struggled to start the timer on his eye screen.
âGreat! I get an extra 2 seconds! Now itâs 10 minutes and 2 seconds!â Gregory declared next.Â
âFIHIHINE.â Moon finally started the timer, and watched as the timer went from 10.00, to 9.59. âNOHOHOW GOHOHO NUTS!â Moon shouted to him.Â
Gregory paused his tickling for only a second, so he could say one single response.Â
âGladly~âÂ
