It was the latest craze to hit swellview, since the dark times of the 90′s when parachute pants took the town by storm.  The Yakies hit the market at every petstore.  They looked like rabbits mixed with cats. Basically cabbits. But since Minyak made them, they were called Yakies, Nurse Cohort even had a discussion with him about it. 

“However, no body knows the origin of the yakies...” Evelyn reports. The news station was doing a report on them, because of the popularity of the cute critters  “ But one things for sure, every body loves them.”  And there was a picture of one upclose.

Henry turned the monitor off and turned to Ray. 

Sharp green eyes locked upon the superhero in the colorful suit, while the man checked out his handy work. Bodies of known criminals from a gang that operated in swell view littered in the ally way.  But the only telltale of what happened was the marks upon each and every one of their necks. 

“ Looking for someone, are you?” Came a slightly amused British accent, proper and prim and quite out of place in swellview of all places.

They had finished saving all the kids-- who really didn’t want to be saved, and they had missed a good portion of the night. But, Halloween was not quite over yet. 

When the boys had returned to the mancave, and changed back from their uniforms to their Halloween costumes, Henry was waiting for Ray to ‘make sure his hair was perfect’ for the upteenth time, and was checking his phone messages. “ You ready yet, dude?” 

Wicked giggles broke out in Frankini’s penthouse suite. He’d gotten bonded out of prison thanks to a favor from another reality star. And now that he and Goomer were free it was time to take revenge on the two heroes that put him there in the first place ( All he wanted to be was the biggest streamed  reality star in history..was that really asking for too much? )

Now, his cologne was perfected and he knew the first two victims-- uh.. make that CUSTOMERS to model it so he turned to his idiotic partner in crime. “ Goomer. Is that video stream contacting Kid Danger and Captain Man set up yet?  “

An emergency call came into the Man Cave , but no one could understand the raving screaming on the other end. Henry was out of town with his parents on some kind of stupid family vacation and that meant Ray had to protect the citizens of swellview alone. 

“ What do you mean Schwoz blew up the mancave?” 

Henry stood there , at the door of his own house while his parents were out for the day,  slack jawed with wide eyes.  “ Dude that sucks, what are you going to do?” .  It was just piper and himself.

Swellview is no stranger to robberies. In fact, with the odd supervillain here and there, and Jeff of course, the cops usually did their share of trying to clean up the city. 

However, recently there had been a rash of robberies in which the cops merely let the perpetrators simply walk away, and whats more.. had done so with a smile and wave. Yet after the fact, they weren’t able to explain why they had done so. 

So naturally, it fell on Captain Man and Kid Danger to find out how  and why. 

The two were in costume, pacing outside of the Bank that had yet to get robbed, waiting and expecting the robbers to show up.  Ray had ice cream and Henry was annoyed over it.. but also a little jealous because it was vanilla and he wanted some. He was just too proud to ask. 

“ Dude, aren’t you finished with that yet?! I mean what if the robbers show up and--- oh dang that looks good.”

The lights were low in the man-cave tonight, as Hen began to tip toe across the polished floor toward the tubes.  He could been watching the monitors, if he wanted to be productive, but really it was a boring monday night and nothing usually ever happened on monday. 

He’d assumed Ray was taking a nap and Schwoz was having a conversation with his sister in his room, so the boy thought he was home free. 

Time to satisfy some male teenage curiosities..
