“You don’t need to ask anyone that when you already are, Bee!” says Fluorite, completely misunderstanding the intended significance of his curiosity. “And I’m not just saying that because you’re my friend!”

 “It’s not the same, but could sit in if you want so it doesn’t feel as empty!” Fluorite offers. “Although now that I’m thinking of it, I don’t know if I’d fit.”

The desert roads of Oregon, once you traveled a few miles outside city limits, were illuminated only by moonlight. That and Bumblebee's highbeams, the light bouncing every time the little Volkswagen hit a bump along the road. He practically had these streets memorized and if it wasn't for the native wildlife that liked to run across the road, the minibot was pretty sure he could make it home with his eyes closed.

While Bumblebee anticipated seeing the outline of a jackrabbit or even a coyote, he had not been expecting what looked like an entire human walking along the side of the road. The Beetle screeched to a halt, then slowly backed up along the road until he was alongside the stranger.

For all his talk of advanced technology and intelligent lifeforms, Bumblebee was, at the end of the day, a machine. And machines had a funny way of going haywire when all the pieces didn't fit just right.

Falling off a cliff is a good way to force a few screws loose. Falling directly on your head is a great way to totally scramble your memory banks. So when Bumblebee finally manages to get back on his feet, he regards Fluorite and his surroundings with the same sort of mild wonder.

😇- They are given praise

It's a game of roulette with two options: Bumblebee is either really humble and shy about it, and usually tries to deflect (e.g. "Aw, it was nothing") or he inexplicably believes the other person is joking or not being genuine and he will just give a polite thanks before fixating on the compliment for a while.

😰- They get scolded

Bumblebee does not take criticism well. He takes everything -- even very minor critiques -- to heart and being scolded can absolutely kill his mood for days.

📍- They narrowly escape a perilous situation

Usually Bumblebee will try to laugh it off or downplay how perilous things actually were. A lot of the situations are due to his own recklessness, however, so he will usually either be praised or scolded depending on how well things worked out in the end. See above.
