I've been struggling a lot over the last few months but over the last week the #Universe has been doing something creepy but good: all sorts of interesting things and events are entering my life. Another #Sweet35Optic shot with the #Lensbaby @seeinanewway (at Three Peaks Recreation Area)

What I am doing here is combining the natural tilted lens blur from the Lensbaby (@seeinanewway) #Sweet35Optic with the @mexturesapp to create a more genuine #19Century feel from the #SonyA7R camera. Most photoshop and fake blur apps just can't pull off what the real thing can do. I'm thinking that by combining #Mextures and #Lensbaby, it could be an excellent way to mimic #tinttype or #daguerreotype photos from the 1800s; very suitable for time period portraits like the photoshoot I'm going to be collaborating on with Teeq Hill (@teeqhilla77), pretty soon... Also, the rugged #Juniper of the #ColoradoPlatueau has its own beauty; it's just most eyes miss the mark!

This is the crazy type blur (#bokeh) you get from the #Sweet35Optic when shooting it wide open at F2.5 from #Lensbaby (@SeeInANewWay) and shooting in on #fullframe #SonyA7R! I have to say that #Lensbabies are not gimmicks: they are legitimate tools for alternative impressionistic photo compositions! I have more fun with these lenses than conventional ones as of late. The photo was captured at #ThreePeaksRecreationArea where we are hosting the UFO Fest this June.
