Sometimes, it was just nice to go somewhere remote and bask in each other’s company. Chinju Forest was one of his favorite place to simply enjoy the ambience and relish in the beautiful, nocturnal scenery. With a bouquet of the local moonflowers that grew in stunning abundance, even Naoki looked like an ethereal fae king, fireflies and other luminous Seelie flitted through the meadows gently murmuring with a warm breeze, the babbling brook running with the reflection of the moon displayed prettily in its current. 

Coming close to the kitsune, Itto chuffed in amusement as he plucked one of the flowers from Naoki’s bouquet and, as the immortal stared on with a look of affectionate wonder, the Oni tenderly tucked a refulgent flower behind one of Naoki’s ears, nestling the stem in his hair so it wouldn’t fall out. Ghosting his claws along one of Naoki’s side bangs, he followed the motion by gliding them along the shorter yokai’s elegant jawline and took his chin to raise his head enough. Angling his own, the younger Oni smoothly drew Naoki into a tender kiss, smiling into it before pulling away.
