If you're into fat shaming or the imperfect body freaks you out, I would bypass this video. For everyone else, thank you and welcome. __ This is the first week that I've completed three workouts. I'm extremely proud of myself. Consistency is something I struggle with so I'm pushing myself to hit the gym at least three days a week and to wear my @sweetsweat band. I honestly don't know how it works but the sweat dripping at the end makes me feel like I've accomplished something. One of the areas I've dealt with since having children is losing weight around my stomach. I am hoping with @lindseykee help and my workouts, I will see some results in a month. I also started lifting today, so this was the highlight of my workout. I love and prefer to lift weights over cardio. __ I am also using my workouts to help me with other avenues that I struggle with. I feel like I'm building muscle and willpower to overcome various aspects in my life. The only things I have to do is show up, give it my all, and take it one day at a time. I was telling #mrpockets that I needed to workout. I NEEDED to know that I was capable of pushing myself and sticking to it. I needed to feel that I was capable and worthy of nothing other than my own self-worth. It's amazing how getting healthy pushes you in so many aspects of your life. On a side note: I struggle with consistency but ask for it in my relationships. Go figure. You cannot receive what you're not willing to do for yourself. Working out and sticking to it will be a pivotal turning point in my life. It will prove that I am committed, capable, and willing to do whatever it takes to love myself. #somethingsabouther #sweatsweet #blackgirlsworkouttoo (at Avondale, Arizona)
