1. They’re switch to me personally but I think the first time they have sex Grace tops bc while Simon has had exp with being with a man, Grace has not on account of being so socially awkward on earth and only having the one serious relationship with Linda. Grace also cries through the whole thing but that’s neither here nor there.

2. Simon and Rocky HATEEEE each other for the first few months bc of Simon’s eldritch horrors and bc Rocky’s only human connections have been through Grace who has no self preservation instincts. So he doesn’t understand why Simon doesn’t trust that Rocky won’t kill him in his sleep. (It doesn’t help that Simon attempted to kill Grace when they first met—)

3. The first time that they have a serious argument Simon goes and screams at the biodome ocean that the jig is up and that he knows he can’t have this anymore and sits and waits for the eel to take him. This promptly freaks Grace the fuck out and he goes and practically drags Simon back to the house by his ear after a few hours of watching from the steps of the house

4. Simon takes the bed for the first few days while he recovers from the blood ocean. Grace isn’t that old but space travel and nearly dying a couple of times has put some strain on his body, plus Eridian’s gravity—so after sleeping on his too small couch for several nights he needs to get his old cane out which pisses Simon off because “why the fuck did you let me take your bed” and leads to them sharing Grace’s bed. Grace promptly has several panic attacks because “oh god he’s so close what if he hates me because I’m annoying in my sleep” meanwhile Simon after living in what was essentially a commune with the bare essentials for most his life finally feels at home because he was used to sharing a bed with his brothers.

5. Speaking of sleeping—they almost always sleep with Simon flat on his back and Grace sprawled on top of him and face tucked into his neck. On the rare occasion they’ll sleep with Grace as the big spoon.
