Back in May I submitted a case study, I did in one of my classes, to SWATA to be presented. I never heard anything back after that so I thought nothing of it. Then two weeks ago I found out I was award as SWATA scholarship and that I had to go to Houston to attend two different luncheons, to receive the scholarship and benefits in person.

Now tonight I just got an email from my professor saying that he wanted to know if I could meet with him to go over my presentation of my case study. I was never told that I was selected. I am super happy to know that they liked my case study enough to choose it, but why was I never notified. I haven't heard back from my professor yet, but I know that if I am to present my study, I have to make a poster and an oral presentation, completed in two weeks. On top of that I have to to attend the whole conference for four days instead of two. So this ruins everything. I am currently taking summer classes, so I will have to find a way out of that. Plus I already made reservation for my mom and I for the two days, and now she has to see if she can take off work to come, and I have to find new reservations plus change all mt plans. 

Needless to say this is not something I needed right now.
