Anyway this is a swap au its very complicated but here steve and billy are switched; el and max switched roles too. Idk if this will reach anyone but like for more heh

#2 !! El and Max

009/Nine/Max grew up in Hawkins Lab for most of her life, and while she remembers a life before—a family, a home, a mother—she doesn’t remember much of how she got out. When Will, Lucas, and Dustin find her, they make room in the Byers’ shed, but Max won’t just sit there while their missing friend, Mike, could lead her to an answer.

Jane Eleanor “El” Hopper lived in Indianapolis with her parents, Jim and Terri, her half-brother, Steve, and her sister, Sara. After Sara’s death, the parents grew apart, leading Jim to move his two living children with him to his childhood town, Hawkins. El took it hard, barely speaking for months, but a certain group of boys might just help her find friendship again.

- Steve is NOT an asshole in this (except maybe in the start but NEVER to Jane)

- will Max have the exact same banishing Henry storyline as Eleven? I dont think so. We have yet to develop her backstory entirely.

- Max remembers her name from before; she came to the lab at a later age like Kali
