The ability to admit when you're wrong and improve is an underrated personality trait.
I sadly see this trait with too many people in the tickle community, where they fuck something up, and because they don't want to admit it, they'll shift the blame to other people or things. They won't acknowledge their mistake, and as a result will continue to make it instead of improving as a person.
To help whoever's reading this understand a bit more about how harmful this can be, let's do a thought experiment. For the first step, let me show you an example of one of my fuck-ups that actually happened recently:
To put it simply, I sent someone an (sfw) unwanted tickle tease via an ask. I knew that she had "don't send me teases" on her profile, but I saw her respond well to a teasy ask from (I think) one of her friends, and so I impulsively and stupidly decided to send her one too thinking she wouldn't mind. She did mind. She posted it publicly and I started getting criticized. I initially panicked and started begging her to delete it, but after calming down, I left a proper apology, and vowed to not make that impulsive mistake again.
Now for the second step, consider this: What if I hadn't apologized? What if I never accepted I messed up? What if I instead told myself that they were all wrong and continued to argue? I would have not only probably fucked up my reputation in the community, but I would have continued to do that and send more people unwanted tickle teasy asks without thinking about what I was doing, because I would be failing to recognize that I'm wrong and I'm messing up.
Humans are by no means perfect. No matter how hard you try, you're going to make mistakes. You, the reader, have made mistakes and are definitely going to make more. So if mistakes are unavoidable, the next best thing is to learn from them and change as a person. We're all learning as time goes on, and we can all change ourselves for the better.
