I’m not getting back into Star Wars per se but I really do need some fics. My history got deleted a few years ago and therefore so did most of my favorite Star Wars fics.
Can someone recommend some?
Preferably gen, definitely PRO JEDI and Obi-Wan is my favorite.

i really wish that there were a reader insert (mostly anakin or obi wan) fics that the reader is from our universe and gets throw in the sw universe. i think that would be a good (and funny) dynamic.
also im pretty sure there was a mando one like this but i cant seem to find it.
Summary: Anakin's been picked up by some weirdo in gold armor so now Obi-Wan has to have a standoff.
(Young adolescent Anakin Skywalker should be a punishment inflicted upon Kal Skirata even if only in a meet-ugly AU. This is a one-shot set before Skirata is recruited by Fett, and maybe a year or two after Anakin joins the Order. If the timelines don't align, forgive me.)
Content Warning: Allusions to death and murder because Anakin's seen his fair share of the galaxy's horrors in his time as a slave.
Word Count: 582
The golden helmet — total Threepio paintjob rip-off! Anakin criticized — turned to look between Anakin and Obi-Wan.Â
To his credit, Obi-Wan stood incredibly still. His presence in the Force even turned funny and all faded-like, wizard invisible, as if he hoped that sheer will alone would make the armor guy miss him though he was in clear view of them.Â
Not likely, but good effort!
Anakin squinted. The ship’s bright fluorescent lighting even washed Obi-Wan's fair complexion an unflattering gray.Â
Anakin would later deny that he held his breath when the standoff stretched out. If anyone asked, he was 100% confident that Obi-Wan would win if it came down to a fight. Jedi beating rust-bucket just made sense, you know, like how you didn't fight it when you picked lizard and the other person picked toad for lizard-toad-snake.
But the walking Jawa-bait (Mandalorian, padawan, came Obi-Wan's stern correction through the Force bond) had his blaster pointed at Anakin's teacher, and—oomph!
Those things were wicked fast. He'd seen his fair share of executions back at Gardulla's.
After what seemed like a short eternity, the Mandalorian—
Happy now, Obi-Wan?
Quite, Ani.
—unfroze. He lowered his blaster, pointing it to the ground. A surge of anticipation — an opportunity! — came through to Anakin from the bond, and he braced himself to act the moment the portable scrap shop as much as turned his left shoulder 45Âş away from Anakin.Â
Because the Force was funny that way, the Mandalorian didn’t. Instead, he looked straight at Anakin.Â
“You didn’t tell me you were a jetii,” he said, almost accusingly.Â
Anakin bristled. Rude.
He ignored the warning that Obi-Wan was trying to send him via headshaking.Â
“Have you looked at yourself? You’re a walking tank! I might as well have signed my own death certificate and spaced myself.” Anakin gave him the stink eye.
“And it’s not as if I had to tell you I’m a Jedi. That's, like, an osha violation or something."
He wasn't exactly sure what an "osha" was, but Obi-Wan liked to throw words around that didn't really translate well in the translator Anakin had programmed into his comm.
You're citing the wrong violation, Ani.
Anakin scowled. Whatever!
"If you had just listened to me and left me back on Phiri like I asked you to a week ago…” He trailed off petulantly.Â
This time, Obi-Wan sighed out loud.Â
For a moment, the Mandalorian was silent. Anakin thought that the helmet looked offended, inasmuch as shiny gold could look offended. Maybe Anakin was just "projecting" his thoughts onto the inanimate visor, a habit Obi-Wan was trying to get him to stop doing.
Anakin hated that whatever metal it was made of repelled the Force. He didn’t like not being able to read people. It was just so wrong.
Much to both the Jedi’s confusion, the man eventually loosened his posture and flicked the safety of his blaster back on, strapping the firearmto his belt.
Obi-Wan took a half-step forward closer to Anakin, lifting his hand from the hilt of his saber.Â
“I wouldn’t harm a kid, even one as lacking in respect as you,” the Mandalorian said gruffly. “Jedi or no.”Â
Anakin's hackles rose.
Over his shoulder, Obi-Wan winced.Â
“Who are you calling a kid?” Anakin snapped, whirling around. He didn’t care if he was broadcasting his intentions, sleemo was going to pay for talking down to him. “I’ll show you kid, you shiny golden urinal—”Â

Obi Wan has never resented the seizures he's experienced, not exactly, but he wasn't particularly fond of them either.
(And then they save the galaxy.)
#2. Uja Nejah - 34k, 28 chapters, complete
Obi Wan was diagnosed with diabetes a few months after his return from Melida/Daan. The Healers assured him it would only have minor impacts on his life and wouldn't change much for him.
It does, but it somehow works out all the better in the end because of it.
After an attempt on Obi Wan’s life leaves him in a precarious state, and the clones concerned about the person trying to finish the job, they make a significant decision that involves the entirety of the 212th faking their deaths, disappearing into wild space, and working tirelessly to help their General get better. While Anakin and Ahsoka are investigating the attempted assassination, Obi Wan has to come to terms with the possibility he might not get better from this, and what his life will look like if that’s the case.
#4. Mirsh’prudiise - 45k, 19 chapters, complete
Obi Wan is diagnosed with psychosis after Melida/Daan.
When he returned, he was cracked, portions of him split from other pieces, reflected in mirrors, distant. There were other things in him, when he got back. Things that were not him, that he now had to carry around, weighing on him heavily.
#5. Nor’taakur be Beskar - 47k, 23 chapters, complete
Months before the clones are discovered, before the outbreak of war, before Geonosis and everything that occurs therein, Obi Wan is seriously injured in a speeder crash. He still finds his way to the front lines and the galaxy is better for it.Â
Obi Wan realizes he's quite forgotten to tell the troopers he doesn't eat by mouth. Surely this will not come back to haunt him later (said no one ever).
#7. The only thing strong enough to kick my ass is me - 5k, 1 chapter, complete (likely to be future works)
Obi Wan assumed the joint paint was part of getting older, of using his saber for endless hours while fighting a war in exhausting conditions. He certainly didn't think there was anything else going on.Â
An unexpected complication throws a wrench into the chronic illness Obi Wan has been coping with for years. Further complications arise, naturally, because nothing in his life can be easy.
#9. Irud bal Motuun - 5.5k, 3/26 chapters, WIP
When Anakin abandoned Obi Wan on Geonosis, leaving him to to fight Dooku on his own, both he and the galaxy are forever changed.

Rexsoka Monthly March '24 – Truth Serum
At least she’d said goodbye, this time. At least she’d promised to keep in contact, if only he’d promise to do the same. At least she’d looked him in the eyes, as they’d stood in Koboh’s rare and warm rain, and told him she’d miss him, too.

Coruscant gets its own Guard.
As her duty as the Queen keeps her on Alderaan, Breha wishes to see more of what happens on Coruscant, and how the troopers stationed on the planet are doing, as the war rages on all across the Galaxy. Bail sends her pictures of the Guard, and one Commander catches her eye.
Then she hands Commander Fox her comlink frequency.
Then he picks up her call.
Part 2 of Up that Mountain, from Breha’s point of view.
