Living in northern France, I often cross the border to see the pros racing in Belgium. But at @sscxwcxpdx it was the first time I could ride alongside Sven Nys, a legend of the sport. Seeing him riding his 42x17 ratio was really impressive, and you learn a lot looking at his trajectories and racing tips that make me appreciate cyclo-cross so much. He lapped me at least once during the final, but let's say I spent to much time in the strippers van ! Raced the Swedish Nationals today in cyclocross. Finished 10th in the men 30 category. Happy but fell in the last corner and lost the 9th spot. New race tomorrow. Not much left in the tank. Saturday was spent shredding mud in Eskilstuna and the #Smecross race in the Swedish CX cup. Thanks to massive cheers and some #SVENNESS I outsprinted the guy in front of me to get a 12th spot in the race. I finished 11th overall in my first year as a licensed bike racer.
