Confession to make! I've been a bit remiss in my postings this year. With a lot of things. 🙃 For the past several months I've had the joy of experiencing one of the greatest things that artists can do. On the last Tuesday of every month I've been attending the @alrightdrawnite nude model sessions at brick. The sessions are managed by everyone's favorite, @artmatterssa , who tries to provide every sort of comfort that she thinks a fellow artist would need while drawing. There are free art supplies to borrow. There are chairs, sofas and easels to use. There is food. There is even live music! The drawing sessions are usually from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. There are always two models for the night, one female and one male, who are usually very experienced. The lighting is arranged for maximum effect and efficiency. There are usually art instructors on duty directing the timing of each pose. The poses range from one-minute for warm up gesture drawings to thirty-minute detailed drawing experiences. Since I've been flakey with not posting my drawings lately, I'm showing ALL of them now. I usually just grab an 18" x 24" pad on the way out the door and anything laying around. I'm VERY rusty! 😁 Big plus: you can run into some interesting people there. I've had the pleasure of hanging out with Angela, Cody, Kyla, paashka and Jeff.
