02/346: Last night I hosted, and helped set-up, the second installment of Words Will Win in #chiangmai . On my motorbike ride home from the venue, embracing the elements, reveling in all the performances I witnessed, I felt a wonderful sense of stillness, one I won't forget. Each night, Chiang Mai seemingly hosts something truly incredible. There is so much talent, so much hustle, and so much drive, regardless of financial gain, that a person can see a professional level act on every corner. For many folks whom came to our event, maybe that's what last night was, another show. Hopefully it was enjoyed, maybe it even stood out a little. But, for myself, I realize it was a milestone. It was a litmus test proving this path is not one that should be overlooked or taken for granted. Being able to message a few folks, or maybe catch them in the street, and float an idea around that leads to creating a moment of beauty is truly a blessing. It's not a position I've found myself in before, both with whom I'm surrounded by, or where I've come to find myself mentally, physically, and spiritually. I'm not sure how long it will last, if nights like this will come together again, or if it will lose it's magic over time, but that's not important. Right now, my focus is gratitude.
