Look look yes is it crack? However, these two are like the first to get together out of the entire Sonic cast in my AU. It basically started with Surge trying to find another way to beat Sonic cuz she ain’t doing it physically no more. And she figured that she could beat him by getting a partner first and whatever.
Barry was working as a tour guide in Spagonia when she first saw them. Basically they made the most diabolical pun ever— like people got trauma from that, straight up repressed. Meanwhile Surge was sitting back there like yes, this is the one. Long story short she asks Barry out and somehow by all laws of nature they work out. Surge has character development, she isn’t an ass much anymore, and she runs her own section of the tour. She takes the kids on illegal perfectly legal adventures while teaching history in an engaging way, while Barry takes the adults on the regular educational one.
