SURF TIP OF THE DAY: A good surfing skill to master in long fast pointbreaks is the appearance that you can make the section. This will stop people from dropping in or even trying to paddle for your wave. It does not mean you have to be good enough to really make it, you just have to look like you will 😀. How to achieve that? First its the eyes - look for the end of the section and have a crazy determined look. Then its the arms and body, throw your arms up and around, make big movements like you want to grab the stars in the sky and throw them at people in the lineup, pump and compress like you are in the gym, throw your body up and down like you are on a trampoline or you are a trampoline. My wind rankings: no wind 💙 > very very light offshore > light onshore > strong onshore > any kind of offshore that is not light. Basically, offshore sucks 😂. BTW, here it's one of the few spots that dont care much for the 50km/h sideshore and still has a fun wall 🤙. When you step out of the car and you are blasted by the wind you think naaah, its going to be shit, lets go home.
