Because I feel the need to out this about The Search: Adrien AUG-reste 2020
I am not tagging our Adrien August blog and not going to @ it. I just don’t feel like it needs to be. But I’m sure all of you, that are reading the story or have clicked and seen it, have seen the BIG TAG WARNING of non-con/rape on the thing and wondered if you should read it. I know I see that tag and run away.
So, that being said... non-con/rape is not the focus of The Search and honestly when I wrote the moments that are within it covering that? I was vague. Why was I vague?
Well, I have past trauma around it. I don’t like reading it, watching it, or thinking about it. I get the shakes and tremble all over and feel sick. I couldn’t write it detailed. I wanted to in one prompt. I wanted to detail what happened to the character in the story... I tried. Couldn’t. So, there is never much detail of it in the story. More of a fade to black. Vague you get the point, but enough to go oh my goodness poor thing. It is still triggering, but I didn’t want you all to think I detailed it like I would with smut because I DID NOT do that. Couldn’t. Physically and emotionally could not. haha
It’s okay to not read something because it triggers you and it’s okay to still be hurting from something in the past. ^-^
