#surface labs

As the title says our next job took us to Finland, but a lot has changed during these few months since we last updated our blog. First of all Surface Labs International signed an investor contract with Wiser Financial Advisors OÜ and now we are in the middle of building up our team. Soon we will announce some great news about this.

We have done a lot of sales work and now we have a partner in Finland - a Finnish advertising agency called HeyDay. HeyDay is focused on multi-toch advertising. The team behind Surface Labs International is really looking forward to new upcoming projects with team HeyDay!

Today we installed our product "SLI-De 180"  into HeyDay's office in Helsinki, Finland.

Yesterday was the last exhibition day. We demoed our product SLI-De 180 to a lot of people and we made some interesting contacts from Siemens. It was a great surprise to meet an old friend from Germany that I hadn't seen for 12 years. The world seems to be really small.

We got a surprise visit from the representative of Bugatti and next week SLI is going to have a discussion with them to integrate our technology into their demo center.

After the exhibition we drove back to Saltzgitter, where we celibrated the end of a successful exhibition.

.. these are the words to describe what happened today (in a good way ;) ).  Today started with a surprise when a government organization from Huston (USA) offered us a possibility to attend to a special start-up program in Huston, Texas. After that SLI made their first contact with a possible distributor in India. Later today we got visited by a American company who also were interested in becoming our distributors. After that we were visited by Enterprise Europe and one of their customers from France who tanted to sign a partnership deal with SLI. So tomorrow we are going to have a new meeting with them. If everything goes well, we'll have our first distributor in france and in the mediterranean area. So as you can see we were very busy today and actually I was so amazed that the words "I have no idea what just happened" are the best words to describe our emotions :). 

We also had our Estonian night today in our exhibition stand. There were a lot of people there and in the end we met a man who might become our new chief engineer. We will continue our discussions tomorrow with him. He will also introduce us to his network of IT companies. There was also a huge interest towards us from Russia and Belarus.

Today we had our fist exhibition day in Hannover. The day started out fine. During the day we had several people visiting our stand. We also had a meeting with Audi and we tryed to change their Audi A3 Concept with our interactive bar..  of course they were not very interested, but they ended up offering us a job :) .

I also met a proffessor who agreed to help us to develop the next generation multi-touch surface. We are wery happy because of that, because we were hoping to find partners from this exhibition.  The professor owns a non profit oranization that developes glasses and windshields for Volkswagen.

In the evening we had a party in the Bayern stand with german schlager music , beer and german food.. SAUERKRAUT! :)
