Will Byers was exhausted and unconscious and had just been told that he failed trying to save multiple children from Vecna, but when he saw that Mike was in danger he got up and UNLOCKED POWERS and then immediately used them to Brutally Murder A Demogorgon in the same way that Vecna kills humans!!!

Will Byers, inexperienced, shy, insecure Will Byers, went so far out of his comfort zone Just To Flirt With Mike. Will Byers told Robin that he saw her and Vickie and then the next thing he does is ask her how she knew that Vickie wanted to date!!!

Will Byers heard Robin say "I had to come out to somebody else first, before I was able to get together with Vickie" and then proceeded to get so Obsessed with the need to come out that it turned into his main fear Vecna used against him. Vecna made him go through all kinds of scenarios that were just him getting rejected over and over again, but instead of giving up Will Byers decided to come out to Every Person he could get his gay little hands on and then HE FUCKING DID THAT!!!!

Will Byers is quiet and pushes so many of his emotions down, keeping them to himself just to avoid conflict, All The Time but if you give him One Moment alone with Mike they will just spill out of him like he has been Waiting to let them free for years. Will Byers can not lie to Mike, not even if he wanted to, not even about mundane things like what number he rolled during a dnd game!!!

And Will Byers is going to call Mike out on his bullshit Every Time because he wants Mike to do better and because he trusts and knows that Mike is going to understand, that he will get that Will only ever wants the best for him.

Will Byers has so much love to give and so much empathy for Mike that he doesn't even know where to put it. He loves that boy to the end of time and back, he would go through hell for Mike, he would KILL for Mike and he will put himself second if it means that Mike gets to be happy and safe.

okay i debated on this for a while.

first off, sylus would definitely home school the kids. in any scenario. he doesn’t trust the n109 zone to keep them safe while he’s away from them for eight hours a day, and he doesn’t trust the twins to not burn down a building. so, he would take on the responsibility of teaching them.

the thing is, he’s not super sure how to go about it.

see, sylus is a very intelligent man, but he’s mostly self-taught. he didn’t have that authority or parental figure to show him the ropes, so he’s not sure how to be that person for the twins. he also encourages their own independence and finding their own solutions. i guess what im trying to say is that their lessons would be very… unconventional.

don’t get me wrong, sylus isn’t neglecting their education. in fact, its one of his biggest priorities (beaten only by keeping them protected and loved), he’s just not sure how to go about it.

so they’re learning addition and subtraction, but also how to tell if you can trust someone, how to tell if someone is lying. sylus wants to make sure they won’t be hurt anymore if he can help it, and he wants to give them the tools to take care of themselves.

when reader comes along, she helps with the homeschooling. a bit more traditional, so to speak, since she’s familiar with a solid education system. whenever the twins complain about a new subject that’s difficult or boring or something they’ll never use, where sylus would hear their points and adjust accordingly, reader stands her ground. she makes it clear that not everything they’ll learn will help them later in life, but that’s not the point. she’s teaching them how to learn so that they’re not floundering on in the rest of their life.

sylus learns the importance of it all then. he didn’t realize that was what he needed to do to prepare the twins. he gave them all the tools to protect themselves, but he was floored to find that he hadn’t necessarily given them the tools to let themselves grow and develop.

he realizes how much he and reader even out and compliment each other. he’s got the tools, the strategy, the ‘street smarts,’ so to say. she’s got the understanding, the reasoning behind it, the small details behind the scenes even the ever-attentive sylus is missing.

maybe he should keep her around.

Danny seems like he isn't affected by Fear Toxin because his biggest fear is that his accident changed him so much he is no longer human, he can no longer truly experience human things.

So when he gets lungful of fear Toxin, he feels normal. He was antsy before, because c'mon, it's a rogue attack but it's not worse. Or so he thought. Because the anxiety lingers. Not enough to register as abnormal just this slight hypervigilance that makes you see things about yourself and your surroundings that you'd never realize otherwise. He'd realize he doesn't blink as often. He'd realize that if he doesn't consciously focus, he sometimes seems to not touch the ground. Forgets to breathe. He can't feel his own pulse at time. He'd realize people will miss him when he's walking down the street as if he was invisible (people just don't care about everyone they pass by). When he'd look straight into his reflection, he'd look slightly to the left. Not enough to actually name anything that was wrong but just stretched enough to fall on the wrong side of the uncanny valley. If he just caught his reflection in the peripheral vision, it'd be vaguely shadowy creature with glowing green eyes and white smoke instead of hair. Overall he'd be just wrong enough to be distinctly not human.

For everyone else, he'd be just a dude. Literally couldn't find more normal dude than this dude. Will pass as absolutely normal human unless someone is specifically looking for ecto-ghost stuff. Even most magic users wouldn't clock him at the glance
