'Kaya stopped mid reach, cut short by the sudden prick of long claws and a heavy palm settling on her head. Through her blurry vision Sura's face is visible, but all she can tell is that she's staring intently at her.
Kaya is very aware of the blood slowly leaking out of her head wound.
"I'm going to assume uh, that since you bothered to drag me here you're NOT going to kill me?"
Sura blinks slowly, and drags her thumb across Kaya's forehead. Her rough skin catches on the edges of the wound, and she can't resist a flinch. Sura's eyes are very, very dark.
The staring lasts an uncomfortably long time before Sura sighs with her whole body, left hand coming up to cup Kaya's chin, "That was very stupid of you."
All flustered thoughts of the very sharp claws currently framing her face are dropped in favor of outrage.
"Oh so THIS is the thanks I get for dragging your sorry ass out to the river after you fucked yourself up storming off into a blood frenzy just because-"
The kiss Sura drags her into doesn't leave any breathe for the rest of it.'
