Ofcourse a huge part of this is islamophobia, but it seems that they hate us all, even those who are non-Muslim.

The west has such a deep rooted hatered for Arabs and Arab culture that has existed for a thousand years.

Centuries of anti-Arab propaganda are planted into everyones subconcious that racist microagressions towards Arabs are the norm.

Every Arab character in western media is a backwards-thinking, bloodthirsty terrorist. They cannot see us as anything other than violent, an extremely false stereotype that the west so desprately clings to after all these years.

While people in europe were getting entertained by public executions, bear fights, and other such acts of greusome violence; the main source of entertainment in the middle east was public poetry recitals. Not to mention how liguistically and mathematically complex Arabic poetry was and still is.

We had air conditioning systems, psyciatric hospitals, surgical equipment, toothbrushes, bathrooms, public libraries, algebra, and many more before these concepts were even thought of in europe.

The first university in the world was founded by a Morrocan woman called Fatima Al Zahra' while europeans were burning women at the stake.
