I never read super soaker but just from being on byler tumblr it’s apparent that it was(!!!) a very well-loved fic, so I’m sorry to all you guys out there mourning a previous favorite :(
Watching bylers freak out over that mid ass fic. I feel so vindicated rn. Like sorry your fave turned out to be ai but it was never that good. And I’ve been saying that the new flavor of extremely popular byler fics are overrated to death as someone who’s been in it since 2016
They’re all extremely mid. Decent but nothing crazy good. Just average which is fine, but like Gosh. Between the complete OOC characterizations and the horribly written sex scene and overall mess of plot. I thought I was losing my mind watching everyone go Gaga for it.
