Almost there...
The Super phase is very nearly complete and has not been without its challenges
Super Phase - The Story so Far (Part 2) – Decant Weekend
Following the prior works necessary to accommodate the stock room and post room, the Decant weekend loomed ahead, which provided the only window to ensure that the area to be refurbished was clear and the Decant area was business as usual on the Monday.
So with the building closing early at 3:30pm, the decant works commenced with gusto as the Decant team split into groups and set about clearing each area.

Super Phase - The story so far (part 1)
What is the Super Phase and why was it created?
Well, initially the intention was to dissect the front and central areas into 3 separate phases of works, each of 6 weeks duration. Of course, the initial concept seemed to adopt previous phases but it became apparent that there would be a lot of disruption to staff and services if this was adopted. The 3 phases were eventually combined into one, the Super Phase, following a lot of persuasion and negotiations and it was finally agreed to complete this phase in 14 weeks, losing 4 from the initial concept. This meant minimum disruption but a lot more work for those involved in the strip-out and refurbishment works, and also a lot of pre-work and planning.
