I feel like the reason that dean is such a womanizer is probably because he needs to feel needed and necessary to others. Itâs also one of the few ways that he could sort of rebel against his dad because it wasnât his dadâs favorite thing but still acseptiple as long as it doesnât interfere with the hunts or sam. Because dean constantly needs to be needed in whatever way he can. If he doesnât do anything for others he has to think about himself. He distracts himself with beer, women, and Dr.Sexy all so he doesnât need to think about himself and how sad he is. But then Cas rolls around and then he HAS to think about why he was saved. And god, Cas. He looks at dean with such adoration and love although dean had done nothing for him to warrant that. His father never showed and love for him even though dean did EVERYTHING for that man. But this Angel of the lord comes through and reforms his very essence, seeing all the things that dean hates and loves him for it.
