A Houston grandmother attempted to fight off TWO carjacking suspects at a gas station, with one man physically attacking after she initially refused to hand over the key. Luckily, the victim was not seriously injured and the pick-up was recovered a mile away. The two suspects are still on the loose. If you are attacked while pumping gas, an option to protect yourself is to spray your attacker in the face with the gasoline!!! Worry about where the gas went later. Your life may be on the line. If the assault begins before you start pumping, throw your keys as far as you can and run in the opposite direction as fast as you can, preferably towards the store. Make as much noise as possible to draw attention to the attack! If physically attacked, DO NOT SUBMIT TO YOUR ATTACKER, especially if they are unarmed! Fight as hard as you can with EVERYTHING you have (this may be the only shot you have)!!! In most cases, they just want the vehicle without any resistance. You have insurance. If your life or the life of a loved one isn’t at risk, the vehicle can be replaced, lives can’t!!
