You've been feeling on edge all day, which isn't a surprise really, Luke hasn't been around much. He's been working on a new album lately and your schedules always seem to be opposite.

You have a dinner event and you had planned on having Luke as your first course before heading to the restaurant, but he had called you to tell you things were running late and he'd just meet you at the restaurant.

okay so like i was saying, really fucking drunk affectionate cal. y’all are probably standing around chatting, he’s behind you with his arms wrapped around your middle and his chin resting on your shoulder. he’s holding you close to him and occasionally kissing your cheek, which is what you’re used to from drunk him. what you’re not used to though, is when he starts leaving the kisses along your jaw and neck. what the hell cal? you’d ask him. and in response he’d just softly shake his head and laugh and turn back toward the conversation happening in y’alls group.

maybe he went to go get y’all both another drink and when he comes back he stands in the same position, except this time his hand that isn’t holding his drink has wandered a little lower. resting just so, fingers lightly brushing the skin above the band of your skirt. you let out a little shiver and feel him pull your body more into his. once you get used to the feeling of his hands on your skin he starts trailing kisses on your neck again. occasionally his tongue will slip out, drawing soft whimpers from your throat. their never load enough for any of your friends to hear, but you know he does because he just smirks against you.

I feel like, at the start of any new relationship that wasn't founded on sex (one night stand that became more, fuck buddies that became more, etc...) there's always this grey area of people not being sure if it's time. this apprehension. 

when you first start dating, Calum never wants to overstep boundaries. he's the guy that doesn't kiss you on the first date, unless you ask him to or make the move first. Like, with a first date, he might have had vibes but he's not going to overstep and assume you want a second date. now... second dates, he'll kiss you, but only once he's asked first ;)

so when it comes to him being horny, he's never sure if he should mention it. he doesn't want to make you feel like you're just sex, he's very aware of your feelings because he's a soft baby.

He sighs when he sees you choose something he's not particularly interested in, but he's not about to take back his "we can watch whatever you want" comment. He gets more comfortable next to you, pulling you close and moving your leg over his lap so your attached to his side.

He kisses the top of your head, inhaling the smell of your shampoo. The smell alone is enough to have his skin tingling and he adjusts himself a little again, this time, due to your leg on his lap, the feeling of weight brushing his growing hard on makes him freeze. 

this is hot. Okay, Nascar Luke is such a cocky driver, he's always doing shit like trying to get you off with only one hand on the wheel, or dicking around and driving with no hands while the road is straight. he can even drive with his knees? he'll do anything to get you scared while he drives.

He's taking you to dinner and he'd gotten you off that morning, you'd cum at a red light, staring at a dog that was looking at you from the back window of someones car. 

And you wanted payback.

Your hand goes to his thigh and Luke sneaks a glance at you, grinning that shit eating grin of his, "what are you doing baby?" he asks.

"nothing." you say innocently, rubbing his thigh.

hmmm... knickknacks. well, the girl likes to collect books. you bet your ass she has a whole Jane Austen collection and probably a bunch of Shakespeare kicking around. Some Lord Byron here and there, not so much for the writing (although she does enjoy that too) but she finds the fact that he was a known manwhore kind of hilarious.

she has way too much clothing. so many sweaters. so much pink. just... its at the point where its unnecessary but Luke is always ready to give up more closet space for her and he helps contribute to it since he’s always out buying her lingerie and things he thinks she’d like.

Girl likes kitchen appliances. like. she’s the one cooking because Luke is kind of useless so we’re talking all the appliances you can imagine. Espresso machines, massive mixers, smoothie machines, spiralizers, a food processor or two, girls got it all. does she ever use any of them? probably not so much (although the espresso machine is a favourite) but they probably end up getting take out a lot because boy is rich as fuck. but she feels more secure having the option of all the appliances.

blankets are everywhere in the apartment. the nice, fur kind that feel gorgeous against the skin, just in case she gets cold. Luke is obsessed with keeping her comfortable so any time he sees a nice fur blanket he buys it.

these two would definitely have a bathbomb collection and a huge tub to relax in together. Birdie enjoys floral smelling things so lots of lavender and purple bathbombs.

she’s the type to have those scented mist makers, again, lots of lavender.

Birdie is a writer so you bet your ass she has a super comfortable chair and desk near a window, somewhere with lots of natural light, where she reads with a fur blanket and writes and drinks tea (with lots of milk and sugar) and just enjoys her day basking in the sunshine and thinking about words and stories.
