Should've been boring, right? The grass, the sand, the dirt, the bricks stacked on top of each other, the buzzing of machines. But no. It was certainly not boring.

Not when you saw him. Hair covered in dirt from all the dust, white tanktop stained with sweat on his armpits, back and chest, and the muddy boots, which could use to be retired for good. All that, with the way his eyes, deep brown, flickered to you, to your heeled legs, made you bite your lower lip when your parents were busy discussing the further project with a man with thick beard.
