“turn around, don’t look at me!” it was too late though, alix knew it. tonight hadn’t been a very clean kill and with specks of blood dotting her face and soaking her shirt she knew them seeing the state she was in was unavoidable. “i can explain this,” she offered, desperately trying to come up with a scenario in which this wasn’t exactly what it looked like. “i just need to wash my hands, then i can explain.” she’d wiped the worst of the mess onto her jeans but they were still stained in red, something that made her uncomfortable within the confines of their apartment. 

“is this a date? it feels like a date.” there really was nothing very date-like about two roommates being hauled up on the couch together, eating takeout and watching movies. it was a perfectly friendly activity but in their endeavour to flirt their ass of with their roommate, natalia didn’t hold back the question as it fell from their lips. “you know. the dim lighting, the scary movie. d’you want to cuddle?” a teasing grin formed on her lips. “that would make this a date.”
