malakai wasn't one to usually 'interact' with people, it wasn't because he didn't want to or that it made him feel uncomfortable.. it was mostly because of the fact he figured he couldn't due to his line of work. hell, his motto is 'no one else gets in, no one else gets hurt' and he stuck to that as best as he could. however, he was feeling rather adventurous at the moment and decided to approach someone in the lobby, bumping into them gently with a small apology instantly leaving his lips as he made his way towards the door. but he stopped a few steps from it, turning around to face the person he'd purposely bumped into with his usual smirk painted on his lips. "this yours?" he asked, holding up the object he'd just pick-pocketed from them "i'll make you a deal, you come with me to get food and you get this back, refuse and i keep it for a few days." the male continued, his brow raising as he spoke. "what's it gonna be?"

beckett was in the laundry room, waiting on the last few minutes of the dryer session. he was in a light grey t-shirt and fleece superman pajama pants - he’d put off laundry until the very last minute, and he had school to teach the next day. so here he was, long after cora had gone to bed, waiting on the first load. he was mindlessly browsing facebook, and his black, thick-rimmed glasses were sliding down his nose a bit. he leaned with his back against the machine.

“Please don’t mind the, uh, zombie eyes today.. I can’t find my glasses.” Andrew sighed, defeated. He knew drinking that bottle of Jack the previous night had been a bad idea but usually even Drunk Andrew wasn’t enough of an asshole as to lose their glasses.
