Short post recommending a small brand producing great suncare products: Sunprise. With SPF 50+ and PA +++, it is super good at what it’s designed for! The “Bye Sebum Sun Stick” is super light weight and small in size, easily fitting into your handbag or pocket and can be pulled out any time. It glides on smooth, but provides a matte finish, which can be a super delightful experience if you’ve used oily and heavy sunscreen all your life. The stick-form is mainly for easy application, but what I love love love about this formula is that it is also mildly brightening (it’s not white cast, more like a BB cream colour)...which means I can actually use it as a subtle highlighter on the days when I don’t want to wear make up and I’m not really going to be outdoors. It has a light perfumed scent which is not unpleasant at all.
As the Southern hemisphere rotates towards spring, suncare becomes increasingly important! Northern half of the world, you still have to wear sunscreen on seemingly cloudy days okay? The clouds don’t block UV! You can get this on Etudehouse’s global site, or from international Korean sites like Yesstyle.
