Needs to be washed so the white pattern lays flat, but besides that my first lopapeysa-style sweater is done!

Last selfie with my fierce kitty phone, better make it a good one!
I'm loving how this sweater knit up. Â Just need to block and sew in those ends and I'm done!
Instagram screenshots to commemorate the moment Dianna Walla found out we exist.  We are on the map!Â
Blocking. Â Almost done!!
I'm getting close enough to the end that I can't stop knitting. Â Whenever I sit down to knit I think I can finish the whole thing -- I dream of binding off. Â You know how that is! Â I just want to wear my beautiful new sweater!

This is my first time with color work, so I'm just hoping I got the tension correct. Â I think it looks like it will work out. Â The pattern is so beautiful, and switching yarns feels meditative.
Sundottir!
I think this is the one!  You won’t believe it, but they had Sundottir at Knit Purl also, and I got to try it on.  Not just any Sundottir, but the one in the photo!  The famous one!  I was starstuck by a sweater.Â
It’s so beautiful on.  I knew you would trump all my silly tenty sweater ideas. Sundottir is so classic and flattering on our body type.Â
I think we should do it. Â

This may sound ambitious, but I've had my eye on Dianna Walla's Sundottir (for Brooklyn Tweed's Wool People 6) for, like ever.
Pros:
a) I want to learn colorwork. b) It's gorgeous. c) So wintery and classic!
Cons:
a) Harder than what we've done so far. b) Shelter is expensive. c) ... I don't know any other cons.
Thoughts?
Love,
S
