I am most impressed with the first episode so far. A soulmate romp that reminded me so much of La Pluie. It was small scale for sure but still managed to keep the core idea of what both stories were trying to say.

Soulmates aren’t born, they are made. Saengtai and Dol are both reluctant to believe in soulmates because their soulmate parents separated (Tai’s more amicably than Dol’s that for sure) while Patts and Sun are full steam ahead.

Dol just wants to know Sun wants to date himself because he is interested in him rather than because they are soulmates, the same way Tai wants Patts to want him and not just their soulmate connect.

That message is delivered so well in such a short period of time, with both characters also having the opportunity to grow along the way and be more open to both each other and others in their life. Sun becomes braver and more able to stand up for himself against his ex and Dol is able to improve his relationship with his coworkers because both are happier and feel more like themselves and like they belong.
