- MAIN CHARACTER - SHE/HER - 17 -
Mira is the latest in a long line of fire-wielding royalty. Both of her parents have earned their stripes as valiant fire-wielders, and have earned the respect of their people and fellow nations alike. While Srefah, her home nation, is not known for being friendly, her parents are trailblazers in diplomacy.
Mira is no different. She loves nothing more than being among people. Absorbing information like a sponge is her favorite hobby. Because of her family's newfound skill in allyship, Mira is afforded the ability to meet her best friends, Reef, Dionne, and Aella. The future rulers of Pelegea, Gaia, and Erre, respectively.
Unfortunately, Mira seems to be a "late-bloomer" when it comes to unlocking her power. Her parents both received their gifts on their 14th birthdays, and yet, here she is, nearly 18 and still powerless. The priests in Srefah are getting nervous. There are whispers among her people that she is an illegitimate heir to the throne. She has been fighting for her life trying to prove them wrong.
The whispers have grown far worse recently. Ever since the Sundial in the midst of the planet has moved, her people have begun looking to her as a new hope.
Will she be able to prove that their hope is not misplaced?
Mira is passionate and creative. She prides herself in being an extrovert who connects with others easily. The pressure of her not yet unlocking her powers is slowly starting to get to her, making her feel slightly bitter towards her people.
Mira has a special connection to dragons, and while being able to tame dragons is relatively normal in the royal family, the connection she has is unheard of up to this point.
Mira and Reef have been best friends since birth practically, and at one point, their parents wanted to put them in an arranged marriage to prosper both of their kingdoms. They ultimately decided against it at the two of them's begging. They both felt sick at the idea.
Loves wearing makeup and can often be seen experimenting
Mira loves to wander the (illegal) night market in disguise to "boost the local economy"
