I’m so tired of everything. I just wanted to search what soccer player had the most international goals and it said the highest was 109 so I was very confused bc I thought it was higher than that.

Sun Wen, Forward, captained the China women's national football team and the Atlanta Beat of the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA). In 2000, she won the FIFA Female Player of the Century along with Michelle Akers. Sun won both the Golden Ball (top player) and Golden Boot (top scorer) for her performance at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. She is considered one of the all-time greats of the women's game.

During China’s golden age of soccer, Sun Wen became her team’s go-to player when they needed a goal. She certainly didn’t disappoint, connecting 106 times in 152 international matches. Sun, who had the ability to conjure up assists for her team-mates, was so good that she pulled off the rarest of doubles at a major tournament. At the 1999 Women’s World Cup, she [was] earning the Golden Ball and Golden Boot (sharing the prize with Marta).
Sun’s goals were not only came coming in quantity, but quality too. After the striker scored a spectacular, 32-yard free kick in China’s 1-1 draw with the USA at the Sydney Olympics, April Heinrichs, then the American head coach, gave Sun high praise. “I’d pay for her to come to play in the United States in the WUSA [Women’s United Soccer Association],” she said. “She’s so well-rounded. She’s composed and a great leader who leads by example for 90 minutes.”
