This photo of Summer is too gorgeous for me that this is when I start to realize that she's too big already to be a baby (but for me, she's still a baby 😂) I normally do not talk about my family or even about Summer, so I guess I need to use this space right now. Summer's quite behind compared to other kids of her age in terms of communication, like creating sentences, that other kids would ask if she's a chinese 'cause they can't understand what she's saying, that she's not conversational, that she can't express if she needs to poop or pee so she need to still wear diapers most of the time, and sometimes, I feel like I'm the very sole reason for those delays. ... That I'm not considering the truth that not all people are the same and there's no even a single person made exactly the same with the other by God. That I'm not looking at her strengths and I'm focusing on those delays. That I didn't even realize that she's still way better than the others. That I didn't consider other parents experiencing harder times than me. Most specially, I didn't realize at first that she's very good in memorizing tunes of songs even if it's the first time she heard it (she can even sing the adlibs!), she can imitate so well that she can say my expressions, my make faces, she can follow commands now, she can put right those wrong identification of colors, numbers, letters, shapes, things, people, animals, places and so on..! Argh! I can't name them anymore! 😍 So to all mamas (and even dadas) out there, you are not alone. We still have a long way to walk on in this parenthood. We need not to hurry. You're doing great and just continue to do so. Remember that it's not a race, it's a journey. I love you all! ❤ Love and bows, Monique of Summery Co. . . #parenthood #mamasthoughts #summeryco #mamahood #motherhood #daddyhood #mamalove #babylove https://www.instagram.com/p/BqCcQjBBvZ1/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=b57hgta8249c
