Left Photo: 2012 (150-155ish lbs) Right Photo: 2016 (140ish lbs) After college in 2012, my lifestyle became pretty unhealthy. In college, I ate whatever I wanted, although I did go the gym at least 2-3 times per week. I thought I could outwork a bad diet. Ha wrong. 😂 After this point in 2012, over the next year to two years, I gained another twenty pounds. Although I don't look drastically different between these two photos, I can do things with ease that were a challenge back then. I can go outside and run 6 plus miles if I want. I can complete multiple Bikram Yoga classes in a day if I choose. I can do full body push ups. I can even do sets of push ups with a clap. Not to mention pull ups and so much more. Fitness was never something that I felt I was good at, let alone enjoyed. Now, I feel weird if I don't work out at least 6 times per week. This summer has really been a challenge with all the cookouts, parties, etc, so I haven't hit my goals how I want to. However, when I look back at old photos like the one of the left, I realize that I have made so many strides beyond the aesthetic of my physique. By changing my lifestyle, I'm improving my health. I'm honoring my body. I'm changing my life. It seems like 2012 was just yesterday, but the reality is it was 4 years ago 🙊 Nonetheless, I refuse to fall into the "I'm old" mantra. I'm just getting better with age 😉💪🏽 #TransformationTuesday #Fitness #WeightLoss #SummerShedding #KaiHugs #KaiHugsWorld #Actor #Fitlife #IGFitness #HealthyLifestyle #EatClean #TrainMean #FitLife
