INSPIRED BY TRADITION AND TRANQUILITY

Inis Meáin Knit­ting Com­pany was founded on the is­land, with the same name, in 1976 by Tar­lach de Blácam and Áine Ní Chong­haile, both well-​rooted in the spirit and her­itage of the place.

For the spring-​summer sea­son, the brand has fo­cused on cre­at­ing a col­lec­tion using the finest linen threads, one of the old­est tex­tiles in the world. Eu­ro­pean Mas­ters of Linen qual­ity guar­an­tees Eu­ro­pean linen of the high­est stan­dard, trace­abil­ity from field to yarn to fab­ric.

Crafted in their own fac­tory on the is­land, where they have cre­ated a col­lec­tion of tran­si­tional pieces using clas­sic knit­ting tech­niques through sus­tain­able pro­duc­tion meth­ods. The vi­brant, unique colours of the col­lec­tion draw in­spi­ra­tion from the ever-​changing en­vi­ron­ment on the is­land.
