Summer or Winter?
She much preferred winter. When you got too cold you could merely wear more. You could wrap yourself up in a cocoon of fabrics, hot drink in hand to sip at your leisure. Not in summer.
In summer you awoke with a gross sticky feeling that followed you from the moment before you started your morning shower to as soon as you stepped out. If you got too hot you could remove your clothes but eventually there is nothing left but skin. Thankfully, the sun is nice enough to help you with that. She winced as she moved, her pale skin cracking and peeling from the sunburn. Yes, she much preferred winter.
